This rifle is not available for the rebate. Quote from email received today, “Thank you for your interest in the products we offer. I’m sorry the Savage FV Rifle, item 292379, is not included in the manufacturer rebate offer. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We are in the process of updating our site to correct this error.” Just wanted to let people know.

Editor: Ron, thanks for checking on this. We saw the rebate form listing the model 12 FCV, and we concluded Cabela’s was listing the rebate for good reason. But apparently the model 12 FV is not the same as the 12 FCV.
