I just purchased springfield 1911a1.I have not handle a weapon since 1974 when I was active in the military. Do have any suggestions for me. I have ask if their training programs none only for women. I ask the gun range where I will be shooting and they will help. Do you have any better suggestion.

I would like to discuss correct holding of the 1911. 
I was taught a completely different way (and much more accurate for me) by this guy

His progressive technique really works but a local range kicked me 
out due to a &#039;liability&#039; issue. I wanted to get your thoughts.]]></description>
