I congratulate Sierra to the investment in a 300 m shooting tunnel. Doubtless this is the way to go.
On the other hand, “longest privately owned in the world” is ignoring the facts. At Stadeln in Germany, RWS (now part of RUAG) owns a 500 m tunnel (although above the ground) which has extisted for a number of decades. In Thun, Switzerland, RUAG has a fully instrumented 500 m underground tunnel. Near Ulm, Germany, there exists a shooting center which has a 5 lane 300 m underground shooting range that is open to the public.

Looking at the picture of barreled actions I’d say the majority are Rem. 700’s and the balance being Win. Mod. 70’s.

If you look closely at the picture you will see Winchester 70’s, Remington 700’s, Ruger 77’s. Common hunting rifle actions with what appears to be factory triggers on most.
