Everything OK? Any damage, evidence of looters? One of our NorCal shooters had one of the recent NorCal fires come within 100 FEET of his front door. Others stood watch to ward off looters, guns in hand…and a large sign, “Looters will be shot!”

Editor: Fire was halted at Foothill road in Ventura for the most part. I was not forced to evacuate — but it was a close thing. The mandatory evacuation line was a couple blocks from my house, so I packed and prepared to go. If the wind had shifted more southerly it could have been a much worse disaster for Ventura.
