I had some significant grief with the electronic lock that came with my Cannon safe. Fortunately, I was able to reach a company tech that had been through several generations of the locks and was willing to spent the time to work with me (multiple calls) to resolve the problem. Being very unimpressed with an electronic-only lock, I retrofitted it with a combination electro-mechanical lock from SecuRam (https://www.securamsys.com/). It took a bit of effort to get it installed (did it myself with phone assist from their tech support - videos did not match my safe layout) but once I did its worked great. Very reassuring that if the electronics go out, I can fairly quickly get into the safe with the mechanical lock. Looks somewhat like the pic at the top but IMO much slicker.
