As an ex-first class machinest I have a great appreciation for quality metal work. This is work of cutting-edge technology.
The only thing I would add is the the present desire for barrel fluting is totally unecessary. Keep the barrel as it is made without this extra machining. It does nothing for accuracy, and if not done properly will detract from good shooting.
