Elmer Keith did something like this with a 38 snubby, quite a few years ago.
Just to prove it could be done.

Jerry and Elmer are about the two that could do it, without using up a bunch of ammo to try to walk a round in.

If you know absolutely anything about Jerry Miculek then you should know he is a far cry from a blind squirrel.

That said, I do wish that after he knew he made a first shot hit that he had put ten rounds down range.

I’d like to try that myself but I probably couldn’t even see the steel plate from that distance.
