Have been shooting my stock Anschutz 64MPR with Leupold VX-3 6.5 - 20 X 50 scope at 200-300 meters for several years. Targets are steel plates set up on a friend’s farm field. Firing point is at the top of a hill with a 4-5 degree slope down to the targets. There is always a varying wind, so lots of fun and challenge reading and adjusting to keep rounds centred. Also, much less expensive than centerfire ELR and equally challenging. Love to hear the ring of steel and actually see the rounds impact through the scope.

Woohoo! I have to say this is nothing short of amazing! Congrats to all involved. Considering we are using designs and ammunition that is more than 100 years old, i can not beleive at how much better the performance is now than 40 years ago. I can't even begin to speculate what other advancements will make those 100+ year old designs even better.

Kudos

We are playing more and more with 22lr at ELR - now we understand the physics and have the equipment needed.

I think the March Genesis will get some serious long range events happening; especially when 1000 yard rimfire is proved to be viable.
