This is exactly why the state of New York has to flood the airwaves with advertisements begging businesses to come back to their s—hole state. Just remember, their despicable approach works both ways. Together, gun owners and firearm businesses represent a significant financial and voting bloc. Politicians and banks/financial institutions would do well to remember that we will vote for, and invest our money with, those entities that best represent our values. We are free NOT to do business or vote for those that don’t.

Let New York and California government agencies design and manufacture and repair their own weapons and ammo.

Let them start from scratch. Sue them if they violate any patents.

Their short sighted actions should have an overwhelming and disproportionate response from the industry.

Gary, you were lucky enough to be able to move to a more gun friendly state. Wheatherby also. I hate giving up on any of the states, but sometimes you have to cut your losses and hit the road.

I agree. They already lost one of the oldest firearm companies already. If all firearms related companies simply boycott anti-gun states, the residents who suffer will/should/could pack up and leave too. Move to gun friendly states and swing states. Let them do that in California. When LAPD doesn’t have equipment and ammo, just like CharlieTX they will come hat-in-hand.

Back in 2013 a large number of us in the industry took the pledge not to do business with any state agency where the citizens of that state were subject to bans on sporting rifles or controls on ammunition

Shouldn’t Remington, Kimber and any other manufacturers based in New York pack their belongings and walk away. Many states offer substantial tax abatements and sometimes even grant money as incentives for new industry.

They should consider black balling every state and NYC police department in the process.

Let them design and manufacturer their own firearms. No parts, no support, no new firearms.

Perhaps the firearms and ammo manufacturers and dealers should all refuse to sell any products to any New York official agency. Wouldn’t take long for them to come running hat-in-hand for more ammo to feed their practice ranges and street cops, and more handguns to equip their new police staff and more rifles to arm their SWAT snipers.

IMHO, every firearms manufacturer should stop doing business with New York. Hornady is a good start, but when the police can’t get replacements for their sidearms and ammo, maybe the dumbasses will get a clue. If every NRA member bought just one firearm this year, it would easily offset any losses companies may incur by not selling to New York.
