Tikka t3 Lite in 223, 3x9x40 scope will do less than 1 MOA at 100 meters, no need for a hopped up scope or a moderator. I would suggest my Scottish cousin try that and report back. The equipment is top shelf.

I've got a 204 Ruger in a T3 Varmint Stainless that is disgustingly accurate. So much so that it makes a few semi-customs I've got look bad.

The aftermarket support is great for them now, and that trigger has to be felt to be believed when adjusted down. I've tried pretty much every entry level rifle on the market (these are the upper end of entry level in .au because of our pricing)

Nothing compares in that price range, I don't like the plastic trigger guard and magazine for a hard use gun. But stalking they are awesome, light and accurate.

I have a 300WSM in a carbon stock that is a true featherweight and will ring a steel plate at 500m every time launching a 180gr hunting bullet. I'm massively impressed. Not sexy but by god do they work.
