I too think the 22 Nosler is a dead end cartridge. I had high hopes though. Bad brass coupled with over priced ammo spells short life. The 224 Valkyrie has better brass, and has loaded ammo in a wider range of prices. I have seen 75 grain plinking ammo for 10 dollars a box. The 90 grain gold medal match stuff is pricey but its still cheaper than comparable nosler ammo. I think the valk might just be here a while. The hornady 88 grain eld is even cheaper than the 90 grain smk.

.224 Val changes the game. Sounds like a Nosler sales guy praying noone notices

For instance... why did they compare the 22 Nos to .223 at 500 yards...

.224 Val hits 1300 yards- why no comparison at 1000 with the 22 nosler?

Heck, this delivers the lethality the Army needs as well as the range for Squad Designated Marksman. You are also sending 100 gr downrange, not 55 or 63.

.224 Val totally changes the AR platform for shooters and military. HA! 300 blackout hits the dirt at 400. .224 zips to 1300.

This makes a lot of AR cartridges obsolete
