I would opt for a 6MMBR AI with no free bore to eliminate the possibility for the bullet to move before the bullet contacts the lands and grooves. Possible contact with 1/2 width of the lands and grooves for perfect alignment with the bullet to bore of the rifle. Thanks to Mike Wilson for the record 5 shot group. 1.068″at 1000 yards.

Think about this for a second. That group was barely larger than the size of your index finger’s first digit and he printed it at 1000-yards.

The planets had to be in alignment for something like this to happen. This means that the combination of wind, temperature, pressure, humidity (IE: DA), barrel state, powder temperature, trigger pull, and other factors had to work in harmony – five times.
