That would take off on accuracy. If you hand load, your better cutting the powder down at no less than 10g if you use IMR Trail Boss it will take you to just about 1150 fps. Your using a short bullet ie., Hornandy 100g SJ SHORT Jacket, don’t let the box image fool you it’s short lead) than you need a slower twist rate for accuracy 1:10 is too fast. (Think curb balls above 600 fps= 700g of Trail Bosss).

So you don’t loose much.my has a 20 in barrel.
