What did you think of the country & the people? Think like a tourist and think like there wasn't a war going on?
Bought a Savage 112 .338 Lapua single shot and put this scope on it. Single shot construction diminished barrel whip, custom load that gave me great viewing range. Breaking match sticks at 1000 yds.
Wish I had this in Nam. I got there on March 20, 1962 to protect the SEABEEs while they built the Da Nang landing fields and stayed until my hitch was up in Feb. 1965, 58 confirmed, 313 overall. First in, first out.

On 9 April 1962 - The leading elements of Marine Task Unit 79.3. ... 8 March 1965 - The 9th Marine Expeditionary Brigade (MEB), commanded by Brigadier General Frederick J. Karch, landed at Da Nang, Vietnam. The brigade consisted of two Marine battalions, one arriving by air and the other over the beach.

Great article on a great scope...So great in fact that this is the same article published here:

http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2012/11/ultra-high-magnification-8-80x56mm-march-riflescope/

Come on guys...You're better than this! As far as I can tell this article is word for word the same...At least write some kind of update. Or even better how about writing some fresh new material for your readers.

I gotta be honest I'm a little offended by this. It's like you think your readers are not smart enough to notice...
