Interesting that an article of .17 HMR AND .22 Magnum ammo only has this to say about the.22 Mag:
“Here’s an informative video on that new modular bolt-gun, which is also available in .22 WMR.”
I would call that a poor attempt at bait-and-switch, as I am a .22 Mag fan and have several firearms that eat it up.

Very interesting that there’s a new 17 HMR option available. However, Norma’s website doesn’t list it and it’s not for sale anywhere. Any info on when it will be?

It is a fallacy that Hornady makes any rimfire ammunition. All Hornady’s rimfire is made by CCI. The packaging looks very similar to CCI and Hornady, makes me wonder if Norma is just contracting with CCI to make the ammo for them and putting a Norma label on the box of ammo.

If it’s as good as other Norma ammo it will be a good thing, hopefully they have fixed the splitting necks and duds that the other ammo in Australia suffers in HMR. Since a very early one I have had worse and worse accuracy with the newer ammo. So poor was the accuracy with the newest stuff that I’ve sold both HMRs

Unless it’s led free I don’t care how accurate it is, or who its from, It’s useless to me and millions of other hunters. When are these ammo manufactures going to get on board with the trending regulations.
