I installed another manufacturer's spring recoil system on a .308 just due to this issue , and found it to be more than acceptable in dealing with big load , heavy bullet shooting . Think you will see more of these types of recoil systems as heavier bullets become the norm ,especially in F-TR .
100 rounds of 200gr Hybrids , or 200.20x on a comp load are no longer out of the question in a afternoon session .

Be careful with these type of recoil reducers on a rifle. If you have a tendency to crawl up the stock you run the risk of scoping your self.
There are several shotgun smiths who will refuse to put this style reducer on a rifle because of the potential of injury.
