		<description><![CDATA[If it does cause a shift in POI, it&#039;s so slight as not to be worth notice.  The main reason for mounting the mirage band curve upward is to let heat escape on either side (out of the line of sight/sight picture) over the entire length of the shade, not for barrel cooling.  If you mount it as shown, some of the heated air will be &quot;trapped under the shade and it will want to exit at the topmost position of the curved shade at the muzzle, which is directly in the line of sight and exactly what the shade is supposed to prevent.]]></description>
