I have an original Python made in the 80’s and it out shoots all my Smith & Wessons hands down, still like my Smiths but just not as nice of a piece. I have been saving my pennies for a new gun, I cant wait to purchase one when I find a 4 1/2”. I have been reading a lot of web forums on the new Python and the biggest complaint is the price. I really don’t think the price is that bad. This hillbilly will dropping the cash as soon as I find one, and happy to do it…..

I would love to own one. It will be very popular sell like hotcakes. They have done a fantastic job.

It’ll be very interesting to see what this does to the collector’s market for old Pythons which are uniformly higher priced than these new revolvers, purporting by Colt to be better.
