I’m well aware that proof research bbls are expensive as well and I didn’t compare the 2 makers prices. I’m stating that a carbon wrapped bbl is pricey at 2x the price of a standard steel bbl.

I’m not sure where you’ve been spending your time but the Proof Research carbon fiber barrels list at $830.00 per blank. Now this is MSRP and the street prices are slightly less but still as much and more than the $700 quoted above.

The bbl and chambering will run you almost a Grand! Yeesh Cool technology to reduce bbl heat though.
