I feel like the poll implies that 10,000 is a lot to spend, to the casually perusing spouse. Please revise to reflect some truly outrageous choices that will provide us some shelter.

I never had the time to shoot till I retired. Spending a half-day at the range every week as I do now was out of the question when I was working.

After working two ; and sometimes three jobs a week for thirty-five years , my wife thinks my shooting budget , and going to the range once a week is acceptable . And as she said the other day to a female friend . “I’d rather have him at the range shooting , than in a Bar”. “They are dangerous places”.

Ummm, too late. The wife showed me this poll instead. She leads in the amount we spend on guns and ammo each year. Even tho we don’t go often enough to shoot, we shoot a LOT when we get the chance.

She has her long guns, I have mine. She has her pistols, I have mine. Between the both of us makes thirty plus guns. Almost all of them are just range guns as neither of us do any hunting. We each have a couple of different EDCs that we choose from depending on dress and destination.

But we have a lot of fun!

These results make me undeniably jealous at the amount of people with enough free time and money to go gun shopping/shooting on a weekly basis. When do I get a sweet setup like that?
