I have the P365 SAS. I thought it was cool at the store but even with practice couldn’t get consistent sight picture with the bullseye sight. And god help you if you’re traveling for a bit and can’t practice.
I bought an adapter plate and installed a red dot. Practice is required but I find it much more user friendly and it’s visible at night. The bullseye sight is useless in low light. Of course you have to maintain batteries in a red dot which is not ideal when there are no iron sights. I regret buying the SAS version. I love how the P365 handles and shoots, the size for carry etc. But the sight system and the lack of availability of parts for converting to iron sights makes the SAS less than optimal to say the least. Get the standard P365 or an XL version and install the red dot if you’re so inclined but avoid the SAS.

Unfornunately… If I may, SigSauer is no longer a Swiss quality product

As gunsmith making weapons, the fact in 2020 is that the only country where we can sale is the USA !

In the USA, the bigest factor to choose a gun is… The price..

So, please realise that when you pay with peanuts, you’ll get monkey work (in french : Quand tu payes avec des cacahouètes il ne faut pas t’étonner d’avoir du travail de singe)

This is pretty simple. I purchased a P365 SAS. The sights are -not- adjustable. On the P365 SAS model there are no other sight options. For adjustable sights, one of other P365 variants is necessary.

I am pretty average, 6′, 190, just shy of 17″ across the torso, that gives 8.5″ to either side from center of mass. Granted a few inches is not a big deal, but at what distance. 4-5″ left at 5 yards could potentially result in complete miss at 10 yards. Do the math.

In being completely serious, SIG’s performance standard is “hitting a full size silhouette at 5-7 yards.” There is no guarantee of where, just “somewhere” on the silhouette. If someone is happy, comfortable, and/or confident with “somewhere”, I wish them well. Think about it.

@Michael are you talking about the flush mount sights or the regular ones? Almost every pistol you can drift the rear if you need to… not sure about this flush mount one, but this model seems to be designed for snag-free-ness and mag dumps, so a few inches here or there is not such a big deal.

Bought one. Sold it.

Point of impact at 5 yards 4-5″ left of point of aim. Before you say it was my grip or ammo choice, think again. I tried several different ammo types and had several other seasoned shooters give it try, Same result, including existing SIG fans, who were very disappointed. Called SIG customer service for some guidance and assistance, was told by Mark- the SIG standard is to hit a full size silhouette at 5-7yds. Also sent email, received the same response from Aaron.

Both Mark and Aaron flat out refused to offer any form of assistance or product support. There is a difference between can’t and in the case, won’t. In their words it meets the SIG standard for P365SAS.

Called my dealer to tell him of my experience. He was very surprised and advised me he would contact his SIG rep and have him give me a call. Still waiting, that was 3 months ago.

Who needs to spend close to $600.00 on pistol when the standard by SIG is to hit the target somewhere at 5-7 yards. Keep in mind is full size silhouette is a huge target. For that matter, what handgun even needs sights to accomplish that.

I must be fair, it did handle nice and fit well. But it in the end, one must have complete and absolute confidence in carry gun.

Bottom line- What the SIG and media videos demonstrate are not what anyone should remotely expect. You might get a good one, you might not, if not, customer service and support, again is non-existent.

I have never been happier to sell a firearm, good-bye and good riddance.

Keep looking and save your hard earned money for something else.
