What makes this even more spectacular is the conditions he did this in . 34F with a wind-chill of 24-26F , and winds from zero to 12-14mph , and fishtailing . Phenomenal shooting by a outstanding person against one of the best fields ever .

The ring helps see the mirage better. I think it helps enough that I always use it when the mirage is present.
