“Dear NRA Board candidate:

The Meeting Site Selection Committee met on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, for the purpose of deciding upon the date and location of the rescheduled 2020 Annual Meeting of Members. The Committee unanimously voted to hold the 2020 Annual Meeting of Members on Saturday, October 24, 2020, starting at 9:00 a.m. local time, in the Kiva Ballroom of the Loews Ventana Canyon Hotel in Tucson, Arizona.

Official notice of the meeting will be published in the NRA magazines and on NRA websites.

Balloting for the 76th Director seat will be held in conjunction with the meeting. Further information about the voting location and hours will follow separately in the near future.

Wayne is in the same league of strangeness as the leader of the scientologists.
The NRA has never been truly democratic and seems to dislike the Democratic party which is an insult to many members of the NRA. Time to change it root and branch.

I am deeply saddened but I saw this coming at least 15 years ago. Wayne has to go including his cohorts.I heard the news and joined GOA minutes later.I dont know how she can disband us with 5 million members plus. Lets have an emergency board meeting and let Collion Noir take the helm.

This is clearly a timed political attack by a Soros financed attorney general trying to stop the NRA’s efforts to elect and reelect pro freedom candidates and officer holders across the country.The NRA is nothing if it is not the worlds leading human rights organization.

Does it need management tweaks? Sure, every group does, but that’s not her motivation, it’s all about dividing and conquering the NRA membership.

I’ve been a life member for over 30 years and I know this will sound bad, but this is fantastic. The NRA has been hijacked from within and the BOD & president don’t have the power to fix the problem.

I’m a Life member of SAF and my own state gun rights org., and I hope that this will remove the bad actors since the membership have been unable to succeed in that.

If they indeed embezzled millions, they should go to jail, and if the organization is so infested with corruption, then dissolve it! There are plenty of smaller, more effective groups supporting 2A and shooting sports.

Can you confirm that a Members Meeting of the NRA will actually happen 5 September in Springfield Missouri?

There is some doubt based among other things on reports from the local Convention and Visitors Bureau that the meeting will NOT happen on 5 September.
