Thanks for a well written& informative article about your build of a 6mm GT rifle capable of long range competition, & without hype! I want to build a 6mm for similar non-competition long range shooting (&/or hunting Coyotes), but without the rapid barrel erosion common to the current high=capacity 6mm cartridges; esp 243 Win, 6mm Creedmoor, etc.
For my build considerations, I have two questions:
1) what was the twist rate on your barrel?
2) You said you’d fired “several hundred rounds” through it, but did you see any barrel erosion as occurs in the other big 6mm cartridges?
