Why not? I definitely know there is pretty wide range of different kind of ammo manufacturers but can somebody explain where that assumption really comes? Assumption which is not based anything.

It will not fit your receiver threads remotely as close as a custom gunsmith will. Your custom gunsmith will true your action and cut the barrel threads to just fit, as opposed to a one size fits all approach that a pre-fit has to comply with.
