If you have a long “Anschutz” rail under the fore-end, especially one with the “calibration” numbers engraved, note the “magic position” in the “log book” and maybe mark it on the rail itself.

Makes it more consistent for Fclass because a lot of the time we remove equipment between strings to allow other shooters to the mound.
