It still sits in the original gray crate collecting dust in my loft above the garage. Maybe some day soon I will part with it to someone who will use and appreciate it more than I. I have an Unertl Spotting scope which belonged to a famous US sniper (Sadly I have forgotten his name). My father knew him well and was able to obtain his Unertl spotting scope for his own use. This scope has a specially adapted 54x magnification eye piece in addition to the standard 15x, 24x, 32x included with the scope in order to see his bullet holes at 1500 yards while practising on his farm! It was said that lying in the barn and firing his rifle in the DDT dust is what drove him to depression and ultimately suicide. People were not aware of the risks at the time...]]></description>
