Even if the filibuster that requires 60 votes to pass legislation is abolished or modified by the Democratic majority in the Senate, the Democrats still will not have the 50 votes to pass a (so-called) Assault Weapons Ban because at least three Democratic Senators will vote no on this bill: Manchin of West Virginia, Sinema of Arizona, and Tester of Montana.
