Pictures can easily be mirrored left to right. A lot of times it’s just because an editor liked how the mirrored picture looks on the page.

Editor: based on the location of the rear sight adjustment controls, this photo is NOT reversed. The shooter is left-eye dominant that explains the tab obscuring her right eye. See the other rifles with controls placed on right side of rifle, from shooter’s perspective.

Why does the girl in the first photo have the blinder on the wrong side of the sight?

Editor: Look carefully. The rear sight is offset slightly to left and she is sighting with her left (dominant) eye. Not unusual.
