In the 80's I saw an article about developing a new form of propellent for shooting. I'm pretty sure it was acetone and atomizing that instead of using smokeless. We have used smokeless powder for the lsat 150 years, any interest in changing from powder to a liquid, or a different form of powder?

The 416 colossus does not require sizing to fit into the chamber. if fact it will fit into chamber after its fired with out resizing even after 5 shots. But you are correct about useable h20

The Colossus, after sizing to fit the chamber holds 215.4 water to the bottom of the neck.
The 416 Warner filled the same holds 223.7

maybe it's the new math
