At the URSA 2022 Unlimited Range Shooter Association (URSA) “3000 Yard Challenge” on May 15, 2022 near Upper Lake, CA, URSA Regional Director, Lynn Dragoman, Jr., scored a cold bore hit at 2586 yards on a 37″ round plate with dual hit lights flashing. [The event ended there because there was no other shooter who got the required minimum of 4 in 10 to move to the next distance, 3260 yards.] Of note, URSA does not have “records”, shooters gain “achievement points” to reach various achievement levels.
