Just barely. Anything shorter would not get the job done. It’s very convenient to sling over a shoulder and move just about anywhere. There’s a handy exterior pocket as well as the cleaning rod holder mentioned in the article. Good stuff from nice people!

Many shooters at my club have the same problem and as I live in Australia I rang the agent who supplies rifle cases and he told me the manufacturers have no plans to increase the length of their cases and he gets calls all the time similar to mine.

Surely with so many wanting longer cases the companies who make them are missing out on sales in the thousands from potential customers everywhere.
