We had a large amount of 223/556 stored in a container. Some 300 Blackout was mixed in with it. One of my coworkers didn’t pay attention while loading his magazine and blow up his rifle. He wasn’t hurt but the rifle was. It’s a poor design that it will chamber into a 223/556. The bullet went halfway down the bore and swaged itself into .223 diameter. Its wild that it does that. Be careful if you own both calibers.
