For jacketed bullets I’ve cut my cleaning down to a half dozen patches. I use a length of brake line with a small funnel epoxied to one end. I drop the tube down into the chamber, stand the rifle up muzzle down on a rag and spray cleaner into the funnel. Basically I drown and flush the barrel with cleaner. Wait 10 minutes and patch a few times. Repeat if real bad. I do this with my pdog rifles every 75-100 shots and rarely have to repeat.
