I still have about 4 pounds of Lighting and some 1204 stored in a wooden cabinet along with my other powders.Had some HI Vel to, but just finished using that up. God only knows how old this stuff is and it's fine. I've taken it out of it's original containers years ago and put all of it in the newer plastic containers that powder comes in today. All my power and primers are stored separately at room temperature and are kept dry. Never had a problem with any of it.

My solution for very long-term storage. If I know that I'm not going to be using powder any time soon, I simply use my household FoodSaver and vacuum pack my bottles until needed. My active/opened bottles go into gallon ziplock bags with a reusable desiccant pack that can be regenerated when necessary.
