Have shot well over 1000 city deer with a 22LR AWC Systems Technologies bolt action rifle with integral sound suppression. There is nothing quieter. Any deer nearby will instantly take flight at the shot. The projectile is subsonic and muzzle blast is nil. The loudest sounds are the firing pin and the bullet impact on the skull. Suppressors when hunting aren’t voodoo. Any other animal nearby will take flight at the shot.
