The selection was based on a rigorous evaluation process, which included extensive field testing, in-store availability checks, and value assessments. With these considerations, Henry’s LASR rose above other new rifles introduced in 2025 to earn Guns & Ammo’s top honor.

This new Henry rifle will be featured in the Guns & Ammo November 2025 issue which hits newsstands on November 5th. In the feature story, Guns & Ammo highlighted the Lever Action Supreme Rifle’s ability to reliably feed from commonly available MSR-pattern detachable box magazines, a unique feature for a lever-action rifle. The Guns & Ammo editors also praised the Henry’s quad-bar linkage action that allows reliable, smooth operation without interference from the magazine.
