NSSF, the Firearm Industry Trade Association, has launched a big auction with over 30 items up for bid — from one-of-a-kind firearms to exclusive hunting and shooting experiences. Running through January 24, 2025 at NSSF.org/auction, this Celebration of Freedom Auction features more than 30 items ranging from a 7-day dream safari in Africa to collectible firearms from respected gunmakers including Smith & Wesson, Colt, Browning, SIG Sauer, and Ruger. If you are looking for a special gun or a cool hunting holiday, you should check out the auction. We feature eight of the notable items below.
NOTE: Many of these auction items have high level starting bids set in place. For example the Ultimate Outback Elk Hunt has a $12,500 starting bid, and a Leupold Premium Optics Package has a $2500 starting bid. However, there ARE some affordable firearms up to bid such as a Ruger 10/22 Target and a nice Colt CBX precision rifle paired with Colt 44 magnum revolver (current bid $1800.00 for both).
All funds generated by the auction will support the NSSF’s #GUNVOTE voter registration, education, and get-out-the-vote campaign aimed at making sure gun owners continue to have their voices heard and ensuring a strong future for our American freedoms. The auction is open now through the conclusion of the NSSF SHOT Show on January 24, 2025.
Below are a partial sample of the items being auctioned — both trips and products. NOTE: There are over 30 items up for auction, including packages of multiple products.

NSSF urges all gun owners, hunters, recreational target shooters and supporters of the Second Amendment to register to vote and then vote in the upcoming election. On Election Day, November 5th, be sure to vote or, alternatively, vote by mail in advance where that is an option. If you have not yet registered, you can get information on registering by visiting GunVote.org.
With just 46 days left until Election Day, several states are starting to send out vote-by-mail ballots and offering advanced in-person voting. NSSF’s #GUNVOTE voter education campaign seeks to ensure all gun owners and hunters are registered to vote and educated about where the candidates stand on the Second Amendment and gun rights.
The GunVote.org website conveniently lists all U.S. states with links to state websites where more details about registering to vote, early voting protocols and the entire process can be found. Gunvote.org also has information on polling places so that exercising the right to vote is as easy as possible.
“For millions of Americans who cherish their Second Amendment rights, this truly is the most critical election in history. Vice President Kamala Harris has clearly laid out her anti-gun agenda [which includes mandatory confiscation of AR15s]. It is abundantly clear she will continue the Biden-Harris attack on the Second Amendment and will restrict the rights of law-abiding Americans even more than she has over the past three and a half years,” said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior V.P. and General Counsel.
A Few Thousand Votes Can Make a Difference in Swing States
In 2020, the presidential election swung in just a few key states by margins of a few thousand votes. Reporting shows there are more than 10 million hunters and Second Amendment supporters who remain unregistered to vote ahead of the 2024 election. Make sure you’re registered. Check that your hunting and range buddies are registered too. Visit www.GunVote.org for all the information you need to get registered and to find your polling place to make sure you Don’t Risk Your Rights® on November 5th.”
Reports have show millions of American firearm owners still have yet to register to vote. That includes more than 515,277 in Pennsylvania and 370,000 each in Michigan and North Carolina. In addition, Georgia, Wisconsin, Missouri and Virginia all have more than half a million hunters and gun owners that remain unregistered and in Arizona – another state that could swing the election – that number totals approximately 133,000.

A new report from a voter registration group demonstrates the big impact hunters, recreational shooters, and other American gun owners could have on federal, state, and local elections if they register to vote and then vote in the upcoming November election. The Second Amendment community needs to make sure that the 22.3 million new first-time gun owners since 2020 are registered to vote and then vote this November. NSSF’s #GUNVOTE initiative was created to do just that and according to the newly released survey data from Vote4America, the outcome of the upcoming November presidential election could be determined by Second Amendment supporters.
The key objective should be to increase voter registration numbers for firearms owners, and encourage them to vote this November. According to the Vote4America survey, large numbers of gun owners and hunters in critical swing states are NOT registered to vote. Nationwide, an estimated 10 million gun owners and hunters are NOT registered. In a breakdown by state, the data shows unregistered hunting and Second Amendment supporters total at least 515,277 in Pennsylvania. That number is closer to around 370,000 each in Michigan and North Carolina. In addition, Georgia, Wisconsin, Missouri and Virginia “all have more than half a million hunters and gun owners unregistered,” and in Arizona that number totals approximately 133,000.
In a District of Conservation podcast, Vote4America adviser Baker Leavitt said, “If we could convert 2% of all licensed hunters and get them to vote, [the] GOP would win in a landslide.”

Election Day is just 52 days away. On November 3, 2020, Americans will head to the polls. For gun owners, this may be the most significant Presidential election in a generation. The Democratic Party, as stated in the DNC platform and Democrat-sponsored Bills now in Congress, intends to severely restrict gun rights, require a federal license for gun ownership, ban online ammo sales, and ban whole classes of firearms.
Nearly 5 million Americans are first-time gun buyers. We hope they, along with ALL gun owners, will vote on November 3rd, and remember which candidates support the Second Amendment. Target shooters, hunters, and gun owners must work together to defend their Constitutional rights. On Election Day 2020, vote to protect America’s firearms freedoms: #GUNVOTE.

As the November 2020 election quickly approaches, many of the candidates’ platforms include proposals that severely threaten your Second Amendment rights. Presumptive Democratic Nominee Joe Biden endorses a broad ban on semi-automatic rifles and further restrictions on handguns. From proposed bans on popular modern sporting rifles and ammunition to mandates for federal licensing and registration, these ill-informed proposals would strip away the rights of law-abiding citizens while doing nothing to protect public safety. It is time you make a choice and take a stand.
As target shooters, hunters, and gun owners, we must not risk our rights! On Election Day 2020, vote to protect America’s firearms freedoms: #GUNVOTE.
Even between elections, target shooters, hunters, and gun owners would do well to stay informed about the issues that affect us. Becoming educated about the views, votes, and decisions of officeholders and those positioning themselves to run for office should be an ongoing concern. #GUNVOTE is here to help you to protect America’s firearms freedoms. Don’t wait until election time. Become educated and keep yourself informed before it’s time to #GUNVOTE.
Protecting your rights has never been more important than it is today. Our national crisis has exposed the politicians who want to strip away our constitutional freedoms. Send them a message! Be a voter in the 2020 elections to protect your rights!

The election is now just one week away. This is not just about who will become President. With Supreme Court appointments at stake, this election could have significant, long-term consequences for gun owners’ rights under the Second Amendment. We may be at an historic juncture in our nation’s history. If control of the U.S. House and Senate changes, and if anti-Second Amendment Supreme Court Justices are appointed, then things could change in very bad ways for the shooting sports. In the video below, National Shooting Sports Foundation President/CEO Steve Sanetti asks all gun owners to go to the polls armed with the facts. Exercise your right to vote. Remember, every vote counts.
Message from Steve Sanetti:
The lawful commerce in firearms and [your] rights … to enjoy the shooting sports are squarely at issue this year.
And this election is about far more than just the Presidential candidates. Control of both Houses of Congress, the Supreme Court, and all the important appointments and executive orders that the next President can make, are all at stake.
And your State and local elections can also affect your ability to enjoy your rights to manufacture, sell, own, and use firearms.
So please — don’t sit this one out. Your vote, and every vote, counts. Learn where all the candidates stand, talk to your family, your friends and your coworkers, and vote! This election is up to you, and America is counting on you!
