nice vid , every time I watch one of these montage vids I wonder why I have to have my ears abused by what some film editor thinks is a catchy tune ? You’d think by now I’d learn to watch them with the sound off.
Nice video. What is the machining process at 2:40? Looks like a speed chuck with a tapping head clamped on?
I like my Stolle. But I see BATs are the new black from the Super Shoot results.
I wish people would stop showing the polished Pandas since Kelbly’s refuses to polish actions for their customers, even though customers ask for it.
Spook, sorry about the tunes. It was pretty boring without the music.
toolbreaker, the machining process at 2:40 is gundrilling for our bolts and scope rings.
Richard, in Benchrest the BATs are very popular, but in F-Class we have products that win just about every event. We are building a lot for Tactical now too.
Joe, we would love to be able to polish too, but there was only one guy polishing hundreds of actions per year and it became a bottleneck. We used to quote 8 months for a polished Panda and everyone complained. So we decided to end polishing and speed up delivery times. Now some actions are as quick as 4 weeks to turn out the door and that is with building three times as many actions per year now. There is give and take to everything. Many guys are polishing their own actions now and we even have a dealer bugholes.com that is having all of his actions polished to have in inventory. Most other companies tumble or electropolish, but for us tumbling changes too much dimension, and electropolish testing that was done rounded all of the corners. We offer a raw finished action that looks killer and you aren’t constantly scratching the really expensive polishing job.
Thank you all for watching!!!
