5. Amazon — Midland-EX37VP Radio Kit (Set of 2), $49.99
⏺ Quality Walkie-Talkies with good range and special Emergency functions
Having a good 2-way communication system is vital when hunting or wilderness hiking. And a pair of walkie-talkies really helps during shooting practices when a buddy goes downrange to set targets. A very good 2-Way radio system is the Midland-EX37VP E+Ready Emergency Two-Way Radio Kit. These walkie-talkies have a 26 mile range and feature 22 FRS (Family Radio Service) channels, along with channel scan. With this kit you get vital E+Ready Emergency functionality, plus NOAA weather alerts — important in the event of a natural disaster.
⏺ Self-resetting targets made from good AR500 steel
Shooting at reactive targets is ton of fun, but no one likes trekking down range to reset them. Here’s the answer — sturdy, self-resetting AR 500 steel targets. These come complete with frames that raise them off the ground. Grab the Caldwell Prairie Dog Popper Target or the Caldwell Pepper Popper Target. Both these targets tilt when hit for instant confirmation. Then the built-in, automatic spring reset eliminates the need to go down range.
7. Amazon — Lyman Universal Press Stand, $59.99
⏺ Excellent stand offers better ergonomics and adds storage levels
Do you have a reloading press but wish you could mount it higher than bench level? We recommend the Lyman Universal Press Stand. This heavy-duty steel stand comes with two mounting plates pre-drilled for nearly all single-station, turret, or progressive press. The stand raises your press 9.25″ for a clear view of reloading operations. The top plates adapt to most popular presses, and there is also an area where you can drill mounting holes. The stand base can be bolted to your bench or secured with C-Clamps.
8. Midsouth — Fiocchi 9mm Pistol Ammo, $349.99 for 1000 Rds
⏺ Good ammo — grab a case now at this super-low price
The 9mm Luger (9x19mm) is the most popular centerfire pistol cartridge. Every handgunner should keep a good supply of 9mm ammo on hand for days at the range. Here’s a great deal on quality, major-manufacturer 9mm FMJ pistol ammunition. Get 1000 rounds of Fiocchi 9mm 115gr FMJ ammo for just $349.99. That works out to just $17.50 per 50 count box, or $0.35 per round — a great deal.
9. Amazon — Hornady Powder Funnel, $46.99
⏺ Good funnel kit has 9 cartridge adapters and handy wide mouth
Every serious handloader needs a good powder funnel, preferably one that fits multiple rim diameters. One of our favorite funnel systems is the Hornady Premium Powder Funnel Kit. This includes an anti-static aluminum funnel PLUS 9 caliber-specific adapters, all housed in a handy, padded storage case. This easy-to-use reloading funnel boasts a large diameter mouth (less prone to spillage) and squared rim design that will not roll off the table.
⏺ Very good muffs for the price with a good 26db SNR
We say it all the time but don’t ever shoot without quality hearing protection. Consider these Vanderfield folding ear muffs. These come in a variety of colors (blue, brown, green, gray, black, red, purple, pink) so you can easily tell yours apart from others. The 26db SNR sound protection rating is above average for compact muffs. For maximum protection use plugs under the muffs. (FYI, “SNR” or Single Number Rating, is the EURO equivalent of the NRR noise rating in the USA.)
* K&M Bullet tension expand mandrels are ground to account for spring-back of brass based on nominal anneal – spring back can vary by manufacture, number of reloads before annealing, and other factors. K&M recommends getting three mandrels, including a size above and below target bullet tension.

This is just one example. This deal works with ANY Lapua bullets purchased from Grafs.com. You can mix and match, as long as you buy at least $100 worth of Lapua bullets.
Lapua makes great bullets. Bryan Litz writes great books. And now you can get both with this special promotion from Graf & Sons. Here’s the deal — if you buy at least $100.00 worth of Lapua bullets at Grafs.com, you’ll get a free Applied Ballistics book authored by Bryan Litz.
You can mix and match any types of Lapua bullets — as long as the bullet order totals $100.00 or more. The book may be one of various Litz titles, such as Modern Advancements in Long Range Shooting or Ballistic Performance of Rifle Bullets. NOTE: You do NOT get to pick the book title — you get what’s available. You want to move quickly on this deal — books are limited to supply on hand.
If you order now, you can get the bullets to shoot, and give the book to Dad for a late Father’s Day gift.
Lapua Bullets — Accuracy & Consistency
If you haven’t tried Lapua bullets yet you should. The Scenar-L bullets we have tested have proven extremely consistent in weight and base-to-ogive measurement.
And they shoot. We have a couple rifles that prefer Scenars over all other match bullets we have tried. We have won club matches with the 6mm Scenar-L 105s in a 6mmBR, while the 6.5mm 123gr Scenar and 136gr Scenar-L work superbly in our 6.5 Creedmoors.

If you’re looking for Peterson cartridge brass, there’s now one place to find it — Grafs.com. Graf & Sons has been appointed sole distributor for Peterson Cartridge Company. Peterson produces high-quality USA-made brass that holds up well through extended loading cycles (See TEST). Grafs.com currently has Peterson brass in stock for the following cartridge types:
Coming Soon: In addition, Grafs.com is waiting for delivery of Peterson brass in 6mm Creedmoor (sm/lrg), .243 Winchester (sm/lrg), and .300 Winchester Magnum (lrg).
Big Brass for ELR: If you are thinking about an ELR build, consider going with the .375 CheyTac with Peterson brass. Derek Rodgers used that combination (with Cutting Edge bullets) to win the 2017 King of 2 Miles Event. Derek told us: The “Peterson brass worked well right out of the box”.
About Peterson Cartridge Company
Pennsylvania-based Peterson Cartridge Company is an American owned and operated company founded in 2014. It specializes in the creation of match-grade brass for precision and long-range shooters. Peterson Cartridge was founded by Derek Peterson and his two business partners. Unlike most of its competitors, Peterson Cartridge has devoted its entire facility, machinery, and laboratory to producing only brass rifle casings. Specialization is the driving principle behind Peterson Cartridge.
Graf & Sons is dedicated to bringing the highest quality products at a great price for the best reloading experience. Graf’s tells us: “This USA-made, Match-Grade brass from Peterson is very high quality and comparable with several industry-leading brands.”
Derek Rodgers is the 2017 King of 2 Miles. He is also the only human to ever hit the maximum distance target target at 3368 yards (1.91 miles). His cartridge choice? The .375 CheyTac. Derek ran Cutting Edge Bullets in Peterson brass with Hodgdon H50BMG powder.
Q: Why did you choose the .375 CheyTac cartridge?
Derek: When I was asked to join the Applied Ballistics Team, I needed to get an ELR rifle built in a short period of time. I was under a very tight time schedule to get the project complete. In an effort to eliminate variables, I decided to keep things standard and as simple as possible. I chose the .375 CheyTac for the ease of getting components. The larger rifles are more difficult to get components quickly and I felt like the .375 CheyTac had enough attributes to be competitive at ELR distances.

Shooters rejoice — we now have new propellant options for rifles, pistols, and shotguns. Noble Sport is now importing its VECTAN series of powders, which are available now at Grafs.com. What’s even nicer, the VECTAN bottles contain 1.1 pounds of powder, so you get a little extra for your money (compared to traditional 1-pound containers). Check the VECTAN Reloading Data Page to see what Nobel Sport powders best suit your needs.
OK, guys, it’s time to practice your downloading skills. Here’s a very handy cartridge information sheet you will definitely want to save for future reference. Shown below is Page One of the Primer Size and Bullet Diameter Chart created by Graf & Sons. This chart shows the bullet diameter and primer size for more than 320 popular cartridges*. The full three-page chart is available in PDF format for easy printing.
NOTE: If you have the PDF reader installed in your browser, the Graf’s Chart may open in a new tab when you click on the image above. To save the three-page PDF file to your computer or device, click the Floppy Disc icon that appears in the lower right (after the PDF file opens). Here is the direct link:http://www.grafs.com/uploads/technical-resource-pdf-file/12.pdf.
Note: There are a few mistakes. If you are making 22 BR from Lapua brass, you’ll want a small rifle primer. Likewise with 25-20 WCF, you want a small primer.
