.22 Plinkster Review of Norma Tac-22 Ammunition
Summary by .22 Plinkster (see 4:30 time mark): “I’m pretty impressed with it … I think it’s a really good deal. For six dollars and fifty cents [per box] you can’t go wrong with a box of this ammo. Out of a good bolt gun, this ammo will drive tacks.”

Ive been curious about this Norma match, has anyone tried it?
wake me up when I can buy a brick for $20. until then I’m not buying.
I have used Tac-22 at 50yards against Lapua Center X. Equally as accurate through a Ruger 10/22. Have not tested at 100 yards but Im sure it will perform equally as well. Definitely cost effective versus the Lapua.
I’ve been shooting the TAC-22 for about three months as a practice ammo for smallbore silhouette. Trajectory/scope settings are similar to the SK varieties that I usually compete with. For offhand practice there seems to be little difference for practice quality ammo between this and Aguila Subsonic except for price. The rumors are that this is rebranded RWS. It may be worth trying in my prone rifle.
I’m with Matt D. I’m not buying any .22 lr until it’s back to at least 20 bones a brick. I stocked up when Obama was elected. I saw this coming. $100 a brick? No freaking way!
Shoot at 2 clubs, seen match winners at 25 and 50 yds from 3 different shooters.
That lot looks good.
I have shot it threw a gsg-522 at 200 yards and I stand behind it. If I could post photos of targets on here I would. It comes with some sort of grease on the tips and can become really slippery when loading a bunch of rounds but we’ll worth it. Action and barrel clean up was way easy. It really did not gum up or leave a crap ton of carbon. Fired close to 1000 rounds threw it that morning.
Benn shooting Norma TAC22 for over a year-very accurate in my MkII Savage HB.Accurate as RWS Match ammo.Well worth it as a paper puncher!!
Update – 3-29-2016 Norma match 22 @ Cabela’s $ 90.00 for a brick. BS
My High Standard 103 and CZ 455 love this stuff and is very accurate.
Love this ammo, I put it through a Ruger Precision 22 very accurate, mostly the occassional flyer.
