NOTWE: We also found one vendor, Gunprime.com with the same 6.5 Creedmoor RPR rifle for $1199.00 but they only had two in stock so they might be sold out by the time you read this.
The Creedmore is a dandy cartridge, that has been made even better by the availability of Lapua (small primer) brass that will stand up to quite a pounding. The only issue for the caliber before this was that the brass did not hold up to the sort of how fast can we make this go reloading that is so typical. Now, with the new Lapua brass, this is no longer an issue.
Well… The marketing hype is strong with this one however the elephant in the room seems to be the current review of the 6.5 x 48 case for use by the US military.
If that comes to pass then the Creedmoor will be swamped; much like the 222 and variants were after the 223 became mainstream.
