Art guys should not be in charge of firearm configuration.
The bipod is on backwards.
Why would you mount a bipod on a tripod mounted rifle?
Editor: Good eye. Yes that bipod would normally be mounted feet-front, but that can be switched in seconds, and some practical shooters do stow the bipod in this fashion for stages when they do NOT need/use bipod support. And if you look at the article the legs CAN still be deployed down, though they are designed to extend forwards. As for why mount a bipod when there is a tripod? Simple, you may use both in a stage, or start a stage from a tripod mount and then move to another shooting position. BTW, for those who are curious, the Tripod features a Manfrotto XPRO Ball-mount head, which allows very rapid positioning to any direction and any angle.
It’s mounted so he can shoot behind him if necessary ..
