NEW Rapid-Access RFID Wall-Mounted Vent Safe
Here’s a smart new product that offers security with rapid access, using RFID (radio frequency identification) technology. The NRA Quick Vent Safe holds a handgun, keys, flashlight, or valuables. Using a coded RFID fob or card, you can instantly open the Vent Safe with a wave of your hand.
When you swipe one of the included RFID keys, the $219.95 Quick Vent Safe kicks open to reveal a hidden compartment. It’s the perfect size for a handgun, spare magazines, keys, and a flashlight. Or, you can use it to store money, passports, documents and other valuables. Four RFID keys are included with each unit (two plastic cards, one key fob, and one token), as well as a backup battery pack to ensure you’ll never be locked out. Exterior Dimensions: 15”L x 7”H x 5”D. Interior Dimensions: 14”L x 6”H 3½”D. Weight: 7 lbs. Four AA batteries included. Made in USA.
Contents Are Shielded From View
The Quick Vent Safe looks exactly like an ordinary household vent, with an important difference — a backing panel behind the vent slots ensures that contents are not visible. Installing the Quick Vent Safe is easy in most homes, since it’s designed to fit between standard 16” on-center studs. All you need are a few household tools to locate the studs, cut an opening, and mount the safe to the studs.

I was looking at these at the Shot Show. My only complaint is the vent is solid. You can tell its not functioning. I would have done slots with black metal behind it.
I love mine. The coolest thing I have in my house that I can’t show my friends
