Wild New Rifle from Davidson
Shelley Davidson’s new “Tinkertoy” rifle is one of the most radical bench guns every devised. And it shoots! The 30BR recently won a group-shooting match, and tunnel tests demonstrated uncanny accuracy. There is no conventional “stock” to speak of. Two tubes, clamped to the barrel near the action end, support the front. In the rear a horizontal “keel” rides the bags. We plan to have a complete report on Davidson’s amazing gun very soon.
This sure is one “ugly duckling”, but I really appreciate guys who are willing to break the mold and try some new stuff. I wonder what holds the barrel/action to the tubular “stock”. Is it just held by the barrel, like a recoil lug? Thanks for the work Shelley.
