Freedom Hunters Organizes Hunts for U.S. Military Veterans
There are many television shows about hunting. But the Freedom Hunters series, we believe, deserves special recognition. Freedom Hunters arranges “once-in-a-lifetime” outdoor hunting adventures for American military combat veterans. Footage from these hunting trips, along with background stories on the service men and women chosen for the hunt, are packaged into weekly cable broadcasts. Freedom Hunters Seeks Female Veteran for Wyoming Pronghorn Hunt
Freedom Hunters is looking to present an all-expense-paid Wyoming pronghorn hunt to a female veteran. Freedom Hunters producers are specifically looking for women who have served in Afghanistan or Iraq. The hunt will be guided by Llano Outfitters (Casper, WY, 307-235-4865), one of Wyoming’s premier elk, deer and pronghorn outfitters. The hunt will take place in late October 2009. Applications must be received by March 15, 2009.
The woman selected to participate in this hunt will receive gifts from product sponsors and will be featured on a future episode of the Freedom Hunters television show. Those interested in applying for this opportunity should apply via the Freedom Hunters’ Application Page on the web.
Freedom Hunters is a 501(c)3 charitable organization serving the American military family. It is dedicated to honoring those who protect our freedoms. Ive heard of hunts for veterans but have not been on one yet and would love to be able to hunt bear or white tail or any other exotic animal. Africa would be a dream hunt.
I am an active duty Airman in the USAF. I have deployed multiple times to the middle east and have had a wonderful wife who has stood by my side the entire time. She is a wonderful mother to our four children and we also foster teo girls. She has never asked for anyhting while standing by my side while I am off serving my country. I would like to ask for her to be featured in an episode. My job is not nearly as hard as the jobs she has raising our six kids while I am gone away from home. She is the one who anwers the questions of when is Daddy coming home, why does he have to leave, and does he remember who we are. Please honor her in anyway you could

I am 23, and a military vet. Hunting is my passion and would do it for a living if I could. I just got home from Afghanistan in April and I have been going through doctors and other things for disability for my back, ankles, and ears from morter attacks every day. I am still able to work but stay in pain. I would give anything to be able to win a white tail hunt. As of now ive still never killed a buck but maybe one day.
Thank You for what you are doing for our veterans. I would like to offer another organization that takes our veterans out hunting, fishing and family reintegration. They are located in Iowa….

I am a disabled combat veteran from Desert Storm (50% PTSD and working on 100% for brain injury – been fighting for 100% for over 10 years – 100% disabled on Social Security). I live in Texas and would love any type of hunt that is offered. I’ve hunted Rams twice, but I really can’t afford to continue to go. Hunting and fishing are the only activities that keep me focused and virtually cancel all my PTSD symptoms while doing so. I would greatly appreciate any hunt offered to me.
I have served in the Army for 21 years doing several different jobs including Army Band, Army Ranger, and Intelligence. I am a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. I would really like an opportunity to have my first successful hunt in Texas.
