Hornady Resumes Production of Some Bullet and Ammo Types
Last year, to catch up with demand for its most popular products, Hornady temporarily halted production of a significant number of bullet types and ammunition products. Some shooters were upset because they were no longer able to get their favorite bullets. Well, here’s some good new guys — Hornady has resumed production of a number of bullet types, and four ammo varieties.

Highlighted items have been removed from suspension.

We scanned over the updated production list (linked above), and we found these highlighted items, which should now be back in production. As Hornady may update the list with new items, we suggest you contact Hornady if your favorite projectile is not yet back in production.

I take this to mean they are likely starting to catch up somewhat.
When can we expect to see these bullets available? Specifically the 270 150 gr sst.
During all of this, Hornady has made it clear to me that it does not value its reloading customer base. It is quite apparent that most, if not all, of its production is going into Hornady ammunition. I am trying as fast as possible to find bullets that will work as well and Hornady will lose my business for good. I understand their need to make the highest profit margin (which is apparently in ammo) but they must understand that I am brand loyal but only to the brands who are also loyal to me.
Well said Tim ~ however, we must all realize it is a “Sellers” market these days. Like you, I really like Hornady products, and yearn for the return of something similar to normalcy in the market. The number one goal of any business is to make a profit, and although we might not like Hornady’s policy, I do understand the logic to stay alive, catch up with demand and come back stronger than ever. I will support Hornady in that process.
