Lones Wigger Nominated for Olympic Hall of Fame

Lones Wigger Olympic ShooterLegendary shooter Lones Wigger Jr. is among 18 finalists selected by the U.S. Olympic Committee for the Olympian Hall of Fame. Now 70, Wigger is a three-time Olympian, having competed at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo, the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico and the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, where he won a combined two gold medals and one silver. Wigger also set multiple world records and has won many world championships, both individually and as a Team USA member.
