October Birthday Bash — Bulletin Highlights from 2009
The Editor Speaketh: For the past two and a half years, every day I’ve prepared new Daily Bulletin postings for you guys. Rain or shine, without a single day off — 956 days in a row to be precise. But today’s my birthday, and, well, I decided to take a day off and go shooting.
Don’t fret — so dedicated readers don’t go through Bulletin withdrawal, here are quick links to some of our “Greatest Hits” from 2009 — the coolest videos and the most interesting stories. I’m confused!! Is it my birthday or yours?!
Thanks for the photo shoot montage.
AND, have a great birthday!!
Thanks for all the hard work you do on this site… and happy birthday!
Well deserved, and THANKS for the always interesting info!
Contribution on the way, thank you for all your hard work and attention to a great site!
My hat is off, of course, to your dedicated effort in creating and maintaining the best firearms site on the net, Paul.
But I don’t much like the Anschuetz video.
Is she a model, or is she a shooter?
If she’s a model, the whole deal reflects poorly on Anschuetz and how they perceive their customers.
(God knows, this is a common enough sin.)
Of those you’ve posted, one of my favorite videos was a really cute junior shooting a biathlon. She had all her clothes on, it’s doubtful that there was a makeup artist, but she is a real shooter.
Her fluidity in cycling the toggle was about the sexiest thing I’ve seen.
Did I say she was wearing shooting jacket?
My opinion is that there are enough attractive, intelligent female shooters out there–kicking ass–that we don’t need any more models.
Let’s save them for tacky American gun mags promoting big semi-automatic pistols.

Sheesh, Paul-
Don’t mean to be a spoil sport.
I look forward to seeing you at the range.
And… Many Happy Returns!
I’m late to the party, but I wanted to say a Happy Birthday! I usually make it by everyday, so I wanted to say your hard work is really appreciated.
If you don’t have enough to do already when you get back you could always give us a range report.
Thanks again
