Modulo Masterpiece — Ultimate Portable Press?
Credit this find to ace British benchrest shooter Vince Bottomley, United Kingdom 1K record-holder and publisher of the excellent Precision Rifle website.
Vince writes: “This beautiful compact press is made by an Italian company, Modulo Masterpiece, run by Vittorio Taveggia. Vittorio builds some superb rifles but he also has a very useful range of accessories for accuracy aficionados. I’m sure you’ll be interested in Vittorio’s loading press — this is offered in several configurations for normal dies, Wilson-style hand-dies, or both. The press is superbly made. Vittorio also crafts very nice Weaver-style rings and bases. Again they are beautifully-finished and very strong. Vittorio also makes stocks and actions. At present, there is no UK importer for the press, but there could be very soon. If you are at all interested in any of the products please drop me an e-mail at vinceb [at] 6ppc.fsnet.co.uk and I’ll pass your interest onto the ‘soon to be’ UK importer.”
Editor’s note: We don’t know of a US importer, but you can contact Vittorio directly. Information for his company in Torino, Italy is found on the Modulo Masterpiece website. Send email to: info [at] modulo-masterpiece.it.

It looks like a very fine press indeed — but just ANOTHER copy of Charlie Hood’s work of art made in Cleveland, Georgia right here in the USA.
Looks pretty but it’s knock off of
the Harrell’s Combo Press.
Modulo sure makes fine items. I am dealing the presses, and I do not really care if they are a knock off …. It’s better to make a good copy then to badly produce something new.
There just are no other ways to construct a press other than what we have right now, but you sure can improve the looks and that’s what they did. A Class job, guys !
I just recieved a e-mail back from them and the price is 300 euros = 420.00 us dollars and wouldn’t do anymore than my partner press
I just got a reply from them $285.00 euro…really is the looks that important..I thought it was about reloading accurate ammo. I will save the price of this press and by AMERICAN and use the difference to compensate for the increse in componets next year..
Can it core a apple?
Looks like an improvement on the Harrells – an extra set of threads as well as the arbor ram. Besides, not everyone lives in the US (no import duty within Europe)!
